Kolkata Knight Riders thrash Delhi Daredevils

Result: KKR won by 6 wickets

Toss: DD won the toss and elected to bat first

Description:
After six consecutive wins, Delhi Daredevils were thrashed by Kolkata Knight Riders. After this win, KKR grabs the top position in league and seal their spot in play offs. After winning the toss and choosing to bat first, Delhi got a superb start by their captain Virender Sehwag and David Warner but were sent soon back to pavilion by Jacques Kallis who took the wicket of both of them. Afterwards, the next three batsman supported DD innings but did"nt succeeded to finish it well and lost too many wickets in quick intervals. At the end of 20 overs, DD were 153 runs at the loss of 9 wickets.


As usual, Gautam Gambhir and Brendon Mcullum provided KKR a great start. Brendon Mcullum scored 56 runs of 44 balls whereas Gautam Gambhir scored 36 runs off 21 balls which takes his aggregate to 457 runs and is just 11 runs behind the current Orange Cap holder Virender Sehwag (468 runs). From then, Jacques Kallis and Yusuf Pathan successfully managed to chase the target with 6 wickets in hand and 8 balls left.
